I found some in the back of the garden shed at BC and arranged to have them added to the art exhibition. They are very similar to these Tiwi tutuni.

Weird. Whatever they are, google gives more results for "Pukumani pole", but the opposite happens if you search Pukumani VS Pukamani.

I'm not sure what language pukamani is from. Probably Tiwi. Like most Aboriginal languages it has never had a written form. A transcription in English depends on how a linguist hears it; there can be differences of opinion. There can also be regional variations in pronunciation.
I listed pukamani pole because the artist who painted the poles I found used that spelling. Pukumani is certainly plausible.
